Tech I: 1

Technology continues to change the way we work and live. Use, understanding, and adaptability of technology is essential for all students to be productive members of society in the coming years.

Technology 1 is designed to provide the opportunity for every student  to broaden and expand their knowledge and awareness of engineering technologies, as well as to explore and learn a variety of productive uses and industrial applications of technology and engineering concepts.

This is an introductory course for students interested in design, production, and maintenance of mechanical, telecommunications, electrical, electronics, and electromechanical products, processes, and systems.

Weekly Schedule
 The following is a normal week.

Monday- Text Book Assignment
Tuesday- Text Book Review and Module Work
Wednesday- Video Assignment, Module Work, and Intervention
Thursday- Video Assignment, Module Work, and Intervention
Friday- Module Work

If Teacher is absent- Text Book Assignment

What's a Module Rotation?
A module rotation is a period of time built around 10 half-hour class periods. Each day students will complete a series of activities designed to develop an understanding and growth of knowledge in the industrial application technology.

Students log-in each period to ADMIN which manages and instructs students in each Technology Module.

We will begin module work in the fourth week of the semester. 

It is important for students to use time efficiently and wisely.
Curriculum Papers
  • Review them with your parents.
  • Have your parents sign in the appropriate places.
  • You must also sign in the appropriate spaces.
  • Return the following school day for EXTRA CREDIT.
  • If you return these in the first week you will also receive full credit.
  • This is a required assignment.
